Welcome to the Children’s Section!

Our Children’s Room provides a wide variety of resources ranging from print to digital media. The staff is always ready to help children and their parents, caregivers and teachers find the materials they need.

Early literacy programs are offered for caregivers with infants through Kindergarten, as well as Book Clubs and Craft and STEM Programs for Grades 1 through 5.

We host special programming during school and summer vacations and many seasonal events, including a summer Book Camp and a Summer Reading program.

Come play at the library! We have play options for all ages — a creative play area for the younger set and board games and coding toys for the older children. There is a special AWE computer, with a touch screen, that is appropriate for preschoolers through grade 5, as well as two computers connected to the Internet.
