USB & USB-C Card Reader Kit
What is it?
The Anker USB 3.0 card reader allows you to simultaneously read and write on two cards to save yourself the effort of constant unplugging and re-plugging. Fully powered via your USB port, this item requires no additional power supply. This item can be used by any device that has a USB-A port, whether it is a PC or Mac computer.
This Satechi slim multi-port adapter V2 features a plug-and-play setup for simple installation through the USB-C (Thunderbolt 3) port on your device, typically found on newer model Mac computers. The HDMI cable port lets you enjoy high-resolution video output on the go, while the dual card reader ensures seamless file transfer and provides an on-demand backup solution.
Who is it for?
Anyone who is in need of either using an SD or MicroSD card with a computer that only has a USB-A port or a USB-C port (typically found on newer model Mac devices). The USB-C adapter also can offer a few more input/output options.

How does it work?
The included items should work without extra instruction and can be used by plugging them into their intended USB-A or USB-C type ports on your computer and then connecting other inputs/outputs through the ports on the adapters.

No additional items are needed to use this kit.
Please note that this kit/items within this kit may be used to store and/or transfer your personal data. If you upload, transfer, or log-in to collect your personal data on any such devices in this kit, please remember to delete your data and/or log-out of your accounts before returning items to the library. Library staff will not always be able to check every item to assure personal data has been completely deleted. If you notice personal data stored on any device you borrow, please feel free to either delete the information or contact the staff at the library so we can delete the data upon return.
The Fine Print
- This kit may be borrowed for one week. One renewal is permitted, provided there are no reserves waiting.
- Borrower must be a MVLC library card holder with an account in good standing.
- Must be picked-up and returned to the Ipswich Public Library Circulation Desk.
- The kit will remain on borrower’s account until a staff member is able to check kit condition.
- Fines may be issued for both missing/damaged kit parts or for the loss/damaging of the whole kit. The total replacement cost for this kit is $106.00.
