T10 Mobile Hotspot Kit
What is it?
A mobile hotspot is light and portable, which makes it quick and convenient to access the Internet anytime, in locations where T-Mobile wireless network is available. There are no fees for the device or service. Currently, the Library offers five hotspots to patrons, with a sixth one available with a Chromebook. “The Ipswich Public Library is dedicated to providing access to the digital world without hindrance, to ensure that everyone in the community can take advantage of the ever expanding resources and services available on the Internet.”
Who is it for?
Anyone who is in need of a wireless internet connection wherever T-Mobile service coverage is available.
What is included?
This kit includes:
- 1 T10 Franklin Mobile Hotspot (in protective case, coverage by T-Mobile)
- 1 Hotspot USB to AC power cord
- 1 user’s manual (laminated sheets)
How does it work?

What you need
You may need to charge the mobile hotspot battery to use this kit. Although previous borrowers may leave the battery with some charge left, we cannot guarantee how long it will last, so putting time aside before you start your project to charge the mobile hotspot with the provider charger is encouraged.
The Fine Print
- This kit may be borrowed for one week. One renewal is permitted, provided there are no reserves waiting.
- Borrower must be a MVLC library card holder with an account in good standing.
- Must be picked-up and returned to the Ipswich Public Library Circulation Desk.
- The kit will remain on borrower’s account until a staff member is able to check kit condition.
- Fines may be issued for both missing/damaged kit parts or for the loss/damaging of the whole kit. The total replacement cost for this kit is $50.00.
