What is it?

Made in the USA, the Tracker IV will detect all kinds of metal from iron relics, coins and household items to precious metals like silver and gold. The 8-inch searchcoil is completely submersible (waterproof) and can be used for detecting in shallow water. It can detect coin-size targets up to 6 inches deep and larger targets up to 2 feet. It can also detect the presence of all metals to include gold, silver, brass, aluminum, iron and steel. The metal detector comes in a handy carrying bag with handles.

What you need
You will need two 9-volt batteries (not included) to use this kit. Although previous borrowers may leave batteries in the kit, we cannot guarantee how long they will last, so having batteries ready is encouraged.
The Fine Print
- This kit may be borrowed for one week. One renewal is permitted, provided there are no reserves waiting.
- Borrower must be a MVLC library card holder with an account in good standing.
- Must be picked-up and returned to the Ipswich Public Library Circulation Desk.
- The kit will remain on borrower’s account until a staff member is able to check kit condition.
- Fines may be issued for both missing/damaged kit parts or for the loss/damaging of the whole kit. The total replacement cost for this kit is $120.00.
