Gardening Kit
What is it?
The 10-piece gardening tool kit and two accompanying books will help beginner gardeners get started and supply tools and tips for more experienced gardeners. The gardening tools are made of solid aluminum, rust-proof, and sturdy and yet light weight and complete with comfortable anti-slip rubber handles.
Who is it for?
This kit is for beginner gardeners in mind, but the tools and books included could also be handy for more experienced green-thumbs.
What is included?
This kit includes:
- 1 AFAKE Garden 10-Piece Tool Set (including pruning shear, garden trowel, transplanter, weeder, hand fork, hand rake, kneeling pad, garden gloves, spray bottle)
- 1 copy of Raised-Bed Gardening for Beginners: Everything You Need to Know to Start and Sustain a Thriving Garden by Tammy Wylie (2019)
- 1 copy of The Organic Gardener’s Handbook of Natural Pest and Disease Control : A Complete Guide to Maintaining a Healthy Garden and Yard the Earth-Friendly Way by Fern Marshall Bradley (2010)

What you need
No additional items are needed to use this kit. We ask that the gardening tools be returned as clean as possible and that the spray bottle, if used, is returned without any liquids inside.
The Fine Print
- This kit may be borrowed for one week. One renewal is permitted, provided there are no reserves waiting.
- Borrower must be a MVLC library card holder with an account in good standing.
- Must be picked-up and returned to the Ipswich Public Library Circulation Desk.
- The kit will remain on borrower’s account until a staff member is able to check kit condition.
- Fines may be issued for both missing/damaged kit parts or for the loss/damaging of the whole kit. The total replacement cost for this kit is $61.00.
