Catan Game Kit
What is it?
Trade, build, and settle on the Island of Catan. The Catan board game is an “addictively fun strategy game previously called Settlers of CATAN. Players control their own civilization and look to spread across a modular hex board in a competition for victory points. The completely variable board provides great value through nearly limitless “replayability”. You will never have to play the same game twice.
Who is it for?
This game is labelled by the manufacturer as a game for those aged 10 years and older, and can be played by 3 to 4 players. Average game time is roughly 60 minutes.

- 1 board game elastic box band (to keep board game closed/protected in travel)

The Fine Print
- This kit may be borrowed for one week. One renewal is permitted, provided there are no reserves waiting.
- Borrower must be a MVLC library card holder with an account in good standing.
- Must be picked-up and returned to the Ipswich Public Library Circulation Desk.
- The kit will remain on borrower’s account until a staff member is able to check kit condition.
- Fines may be issued for both missing/damaged kit parts or for the loss/damaging of the whole kit. The total replacement cost for this kit is $59.99.
