Stud Finder Kit
What is it?
The Zircon StudSensor 70 electronic stud scanner comes equipped with two scanning modes: “StudScan” and “DeepScan” features. It detects the edges and center of wood and metal studs and alerts you of live AC wires helping you easily find studs and avoid hazards. “Ready” LED lights are available to indicate when the stud finder is calibrated and ready for use while the patented “SpotLite Pointing System” illuminates and the audio tone signal sounds when the stud center is located. An integrated erasable wall marker enables users to mark targets with the simple push of a button.

What you need
You will need one 9-volt battery (not included) to use this kit. Although previous borrowers may leave batteries in the kit, we cannot guarantee how long they will last, so having batteries ready is encouraged.
The Fine Print
- This kit may be borrowed for one week. One renewal is permitted, provided there are no reserves waiting.
- Borrower must be a MVLC library card holder with an account in good standing.
- Must be picked-up and returned to the Ipswich Public Library Circulation Desk.
- The kit will remain on borrower’s account until a staff member is able to check kit condition.
- Fines may be issued for both missing/damaged kit parts or for the loss/damaging of the whole kit. The total replacement cost for this kit is $59.00.
