What is it?
A Toniebox is an audio player designed to allow little listeners to independently play songs and stories by placing a Tonie on top of the Toniebox. Each Disney Princess Tonie plays its own songs and stories while the Playtime Puppy Tonie plays popular traditional children’s songs.
Who is it for?
Anyone ages 3+ who would like to listen to the songs and stories of the Tonies. Younger children may enjoy this kit with adult supervision.

- 5 Tonies (Belle, Cinderella, Moana, Rapunzel, and Playtime Puppy)

How does it work?
The included instruction packet should tell you all you need to know to get started. The set up guide and video tutorials can be found here.
Once the Toniebox is set up, place a Tonie on top of a box. Raise the volume by pinching the larger ear of the Toniebox, lower the volume by pinching the smaller ear. Tap the side of the Toniebox to skip to the next song or story. Tilt the Toniebox to its sides to rewind or fast forward.
What you need
A Wi-Fi connection is required for the initial set up, but then you can take it on the go. The included set up guide should tell you all you need to know to get started.
The Fine Print
- This kit may be borrowed for one week. One renewal is permitted, provided there are no reserves waiting.
- Borrower must be a MVLC library card holder with an account in good standing.
- Must be picked-up and returned to the Ipswich Public Library Circulation Desk.
- The kit will remain on borrower’s account until a staff member is able to check kit condition.
- Fines may be issued for both missing/damaged kit parts or for the loss/damaging of the whole kit. The total replacement cost for this kit is $176.00.
